According to JKMK’s currently displayed Author Fees information, the Article Submission Fee is IDR 0 and the Article Publication Fee is IDR 450,000. The official Author Fees page is the primary source for payment instructions and any future fee revisions.

02When Charges Apply

There is no fee to submit a manuscript. The article publication charge applies to accepted articles when payment is requested through the journal’s official workflow. Payment does not guarantee acceptance, preferential review, faster editorial decisions, or an individual publication date.

The journal should communicate any change in charges clearly and prospectively, including any additional charges if introduced, before requiring payment.

03Purpose of the Publication Charge

Publication charges help support journal operations such as editorial administration, manuscript preparation and production, online publication, and website and scholarly metadata maintenance. Editorial decisions must be based on scientific and ethical criteria rather than an author’s ability or willingness to pay.

04Payment Security and Receipts

Authors must follow only the instructions published on the official Author Fees page or issued through an authorized journal communication channel. For payment confirmation, follow the journal’s official mechanism and retain proof of the transaction. Avoid payments requested through unverified personal accounts or messages.

05Waivers, Reductions, and Queries

Authors who face funding constraints may ask the editorial office whether a waiver or reduction can be considered. No automatic waiver or reduction is promised by this policy. Any exception must receive written approval from the journal before payment; a request does not affect peer-review or editorial decisions.

06Fee Transparency

The journal will endeavor to ensure that fee information, timing, payment requirements, and any approved exception are presented consistently across the Author Fees page, author correspondence, and publication policy. If an inconsistency is identified, authors should request clarification from the editorial office before payment.
