Publication Ethics
Jurnal Kepemimpinan dan Manajemen Keperawatan is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and scholarly integrity. The journal expects all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, to follow ethical principles in scientific publishing.
Duties of Authors
Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, accurate, and free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation. Authors must ensure that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
All authors listed in the manuscript must have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, writing, or revision of the manuscript. Authors must also ensure that all sources are properly cited and that any conflicts of interest, funding sources, or ethical approvals are clearly disclosed.
For studies involving human participants, authors must state that ethical approval has been obtained from an appropriate ethics committee or institutional review board. Informed consent must be obtained where applicable.
Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts based on their academic merit, relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, originality, methodological quality, clarity, and contribution to nursing leadership and management. Editorial decisions must be made objectively and without discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political belief.
Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished materials for personal advantage. Editors are also responsible for managing conflicts of interest and ensuring that the peer review process is fair, transparent, and timely.
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely assessments of submitted manuscripts. Reviewers should evaluate the manuscript’s originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, ethical considerations, and contribution to the field.
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and must not disclose, discuss, or use information from the manuscript before publication. Reviewers should decline the review invitation if they have a conflict of interest, lack the required expertise, or are unable to complete the review within the requested timeframe.
Duties of the Publisher

Cases of suspected ethical misconduct, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, authorship disputes, citation manipulation, or conflicts of interest, will be handled seriously according to accepted standards of scholarly publishing.
