Plagiarism Screening Policy
Plagiarism Screening Policy
Jurnal Kepemimpinan dan Manajemen Keperawatan applies a plagiarism screening process to all submitted manuscripts as part of its commitment to academic integrity and publication ethics. Every manuscript submitted to the journal will be checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software before it proceeds to the peer review or editorial decision process.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and that all sources are properly cited. Manuscripts must not contain plagiarized text, inappropriate paraphrasing, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, or unethical reuse of previously published work.
If a manuscript shows a high similarity index or contains indications of plagiarism, the editorial team may return the manuscript to the author for revision, reject the manuscript, or take further action according to the severity of the case. The decision will be based not only on the similarity percentage but also on the nature and context of the matched text.
The journal expects authors to avoid the following practices:
- Copying text, ideas, data, figures, or tables from other sources without proper citation.
- Reusing substantial parts of the author’s own previously published work without appropriate citation.
- Paraphrasing another author’s work without proper acknowledgment.
- Submitting the same or substantially similar manuscript to more than one journal.
- Manipulating citations or references in a misleading manner.
Manuscripts that are found to violate ethical standards may be rejected at any stage of the editorial process. If plagiarism or ethical misconduct is identified after publication, the journal may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the nature and severity of the case.
