THE COMPLIANCE IN IMPLEMENTING PHYSICAL DISTANCING AT WEST NUSA TENGGARA
KEPATUHAN MASYARAKAT NUSA TENGGARA BARAT DALAM MELAKSANAKAN PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Pandemi Coronavirus Disease of 2019 (COVID-19) memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam
keberlangsungan hidup manusia. Hal yang dilakukan untuk memutus rantai penyebaran virus yang
peratama kali hadir di Wuhan China, Pemerintah memberlakukan peraturan seperti phyisical
distancing hingga Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB). Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kepetuhan masyarakat Nusa Tenggara Barat dalam melaksanakan
phyisical distancing. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian
deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive
sampling, pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara online yang dimulai tanggal 25-
30 April 2020 dengan jumlah responden 315 orang. Hasil: Pada penelitian ini didapatkan kategori
responden paling banyak berusia 20-30 tahun sebanyak 192 orang (61%), jenis kelamin perempuan
sebanyak 170 orang (54%), pendidikan terakhir perguruan tinggi sebanyak 202 orang (64,1%),
pekerjaan pelajar/mahasiswa sebanyak 169 orang (53.7%) dengan tingkat kepatuhan dalam
melaksanakan phyisical distancing dalam kategori patuh sebanyak 167 orang (53%) dan dalam
kategori tidak patuh sebanyak 148 orang (47%). Kesimpulan: Masyarakat Nusa Tenggara Barat
mayoritas dalam kategori patuh dalam melaksanakan phyisical distancing.

ABSTRACT
The pandemic of Coronavirus Disease of 2019 (COVID-19) had a significant impact on human
survival. Strategy to break the chain of spreading of the virus which was first present in Wuhan
China, the Government imposed regulations such as physical distancing to large-scale social
restrictions. Objective: This study aims to identify the level of compliance of the people of West Nusa
Tenggara in implementing physical distancing. Method: This research is quantitative research
using descriptive design with cross sectional approach, sampling using purposive sampling
techniques, data collection in this study was conducted online which began on 25-30 April 2020 with
315 respondents. Results: In this study, the most respondents were aged 20-30 years (192%), gender
was 170 people (54%), education was bachelor degree has many as 202 persons (64.1%), occupation
were 169 students (53.7%) with compliance level in carrying out physical distancing in the
compliance category of 167 persons (53%) and in the category of non-compliance as many as 148
persons (47%). Conclusion: The majority of the people of West Nusa Tenggara in the category of
compliance in carrying out physical distancing.
