Upaya Pengembangan Sumber Daya Keperawatan melalui CPD (Continuing Professional Development)

Perawat merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang memberikan asuhan keperawatan selama 24 jam setiap hari kepada pasien dan keluarga, sehingga pelayanan keperawatan merupakan inti dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Upaya pengembangan sumber daya keperawatan berkelanjutan perlu dilakukan untuk menjaga kualitas perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan. CPD merupakan salah satu upaya pengembangan staf yang dapat meningkatkan kepuasan staf dalam bekerja, sehingga mencegah burn out dan turn over. Penting bagi manajer mengetahui cara untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya keperawatan. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya pengembangan sumber daya keperawatan melalui CPD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah systematic review menggunakan PRISMA. Hasil studi dari 20 artikel yang dianalisis menunjukkan bahwa CPD merupakan hal yang diperlukan oleh perawat agar dapat memberikan asuhan keperawatan yang berkualitas. Pelaksanaan CPD juga terbukti dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya keperawatan. Maka dalam hal ini manajer keperawatan memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pelaksanaan CPD. Akan tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya CPD tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab seorang manajer, tetapi juga menjadi tanggung jawab seorang perawat.
