Pendahuluan: permasalahan yang sering dialami oleh perawat dalam
memberikan pelayanan dan perawatan pada pasien penderita penyakit kronis
yaitu mengenai penyembuhan yang kurang sempurna dan terjadi di semua
sistem organ yang menyebabkan kecemasan.
Tujuan: untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kecemasan penyakit kronis
(Diabetes Miletus (DM), hipertensi, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), kanker dan
penyakit jantung) di RSUD Tugurejo Semarang.
Metode: penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan
cross sectional dengan sampel 200 pasien yang menderita 5 jenis penyakit
kronis (DM, hipertensi, CKD, kanker, dan penyakit jantung) di RSUD Tugurejo
Semarang dengan 40 sampel masing-masing penyakit yang terpenuhi. kriteria
inklusi. Pengukuran kecemasan menggunakan metode Zung-Self Rating Anxiety
Scale (SAS). Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat yang
diuji secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui gambaran kecemasan pada pasien
kronis.
Hasil dan Pembahasan: hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar
pasien mengalami kecemasan berat dimana pasien kanker mengalami tingkat
kecemasan berat yang paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 87,5% dibandingkan dengan
jenis penyakit lainnya. Kecemasan berat muncul karena masalah biologis
akibat pemulihan yang tidak tuntas dan mengancam kematian pasien, selain
itu masalah keuangan untuk mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan menjadi
pemicu kecemasan.
Kesimpulan: hasil penilaian kecemasan pasien penderita 5 jenis penyakit
kronis dengan menggunakan alat ukur Zung-Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS)
membuktikan bahwa pasien mengalami kecemasan berat dimana penderita
penyakit kanker mengalami tingkat kecemasan berat paling tinggi sebanyak
87,5%.
