PENGARUH EUCALYPTUS PATCH TERHADAP BERSIHAN JALAN NAFAS PENDERITA ISPA PADA KARYAWAN GARMENT

Infeksi saluran pernapasan akut (ISPA) adalah penyakit saluran pernapasan atas atau bawah dengan gejala umum yaitu batuk, terasa tidak nyaman pada saluran hidung, demam ringan, lendir berlebih, hidung tersumbat, pilek, bersin dan menimbulkan masalah bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif. Pemberian minyak kayu putih berupa eucalyptus patch/ tempel merupakan terobosan baru yang praktis dan diharapkan mampu mengatasi masalah bersihan jalan nafas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh eucalyptus patch terhadap bersihan jalan nafas penderita ISPA. Jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi adalah karyawan PT Morich yang terdiagnosa ISPA dengan jumlah sampel 15 orang yang dipilih dengan consecutive sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai sig (2-tailed) dengan hasil 0.001 yang berarti eucalyptus patch berpengaruh terhadap bersihan jalan nafas pada penderita ISPA.
