DUKUNGAN SOSIAL, SIKAP MINDFULNESS, DAN STRESS PENGASUHAN, DENGAN RELASI IBU – ANAK PADA PERAWAT DENGAN PERAN GANDA
Abstract
Nurses are at the forefront of the process of handling COVID-19 with various challenges, both
in the domestic (family) and professional (at work) spheres, especially for female nurses. This
dual role certainly has some psychological impact on nurses in carrying out their professional
roles as a nurse and a mother at home. This is the focus of the study in this study with the aim
of knowing a model that shows a pattern of relationship between social support, mindfulness,
and parenting stress with the mother-child relationship in nurses with multiple roles. The
method used in this study is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling
technique used in this study was the purposive sampling of the population of female nurses

who have a dual role as mothers in Indonesia. The sample used was 189 nurses working in
Madiun Regency & City. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed
online to respondents. The results of this study indicate that the structural equation model
built through the variables of social support, mindfulness, and parenting stress on the mother-
child relationship indicates a fit model to explain the relationship between the variables
studied. So it can be concluded that the variables of social support, mindfulness, and parenting
stress contribute to influencing the mother-child relationship at a certain level of
contribution. The better the social support for a mother with multiple roles, the lower the
parenting stress experienced by a mother. This contributes to increasing a mother's
mindfulness in parenting. If the mother's mindfulness attitude is good in carrying out
parenting, it will support the establishment of a positive mother-child relationship.
Keywords: structural equation model, nurses, double roles.
