Abstract Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB patients are required to take Anti-Tuberculosis Drugs (ATD) regularly. Inadequate treatment can lead to drug resistance, specifically to first-line drugs Rifampicin and Isoniazid, known as Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB). TB disease and its treatment can lead to various disruptions in the patient's physical, psychological, and socioeconomic conditions. The study aimed to determine the differences in physical, psychological, and socioeconomic conditions between MDR-TB and Non-MDR-TB patients in the areas of Puskesmas (Primary Health Centers) Sumbang I-II and Baturraden I-II. This research employed a comparative quantitative design. The sample consisted of TB patients undergoing treatment in the Sumbang and Baturraden areas in 2023, totalling 68 respondents using the total sampling method. The study was conducted in May-June using the DASS-42 questionnaire, family income questionnaire, and height and weight measurements. The research results were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. The majority of respondents, both MDR and Non-MDR, were aged 26-45, male, employed as farmers, and completed middle school education. The analysis yielded a p-value of 0.026 for physical condition and 0.040 for psychological condition, indicating differences between MDR-TB and Non-MDR-TB groups. However, the p-value for the socioeconomic condition was 0.153, indicating no difference between the MDR-TB and Non-MDR-TB groups. MDR-TB and Non-MDR-TB patients have differences in physical and psychological conditions. There is no difference in socioeconomic conditions between MDR-TB and Non-MDR-TB patients.
