HUBUNGAN TIPE KEPRIBADIAN HIPPOCRATES-GALENUS DENGAN TINGKAT KEPERCAYAAN DIRI PADA REMAJA DI SMA NEGERI 5 MAGELANG
Hubungan Tipe Kepribadian Hippocrates-Galenus Dengan Tingkat Kepercayan Diri Pada Remaja di SMA Negeri 5 Magelang
Abstract
Remaja merupakan masa menuju dewasa dan sedang dalam proses pencarian identitas diri serta sering kali mengalami permasalahan terhadap kepercayaan dirinya. Kepercayaan diri merupakan salah satu aspek kepribadian yang berupa keyakinan akan kemampuan diri sendiri sehingga tidak terpengaruh oleh orang lain. Adanya perbedaan tingkat kepercayaan diri dapat dipengaruhi oleh tipe kepribadian. Untuk itu, remaja perlu memahami tipe kepribadiannya sehingga mampu beradaptasi dan mengoptimalkan kemampuannya sehingga dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tipe kepribadian Hippocrates-Galenus dengan tingkat kepercayaan diri pada remaja di SMA Negeri 5 Magelang. Metode yang digunakan adalah korelasi cross sectional dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel 277 orang. Pengumpulan data tipe kepribadian Hippocrates-Galenus menggunakan kuesioneryang terdapat dalam buku Personality Pluss, sedangkan kuesioner tingkat kepercayaan diri menggunakan kuesioner kepercayaan diri. Untuk menguji hubungan kedua variabel menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square. Hasil Uji Chi Square menunjukkan nilai p < 0.05 yang berarti ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tipe kepribadian Hippocrates-Galenus dengantingkat kepercayaan diri. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Ada hubungan tipe kepribadian Hippocrates-Galenus dengan tingkat kepercayaan diri pada remaja di SMA Negeri 5 Magelang.Kata kunci : Tipe Kepribadian Hippocrates-Galenus, Tingkat Kepercayaan Diri, Remaja.Adolescence is a period towards adulthood and is in the process of searching for self-identity and often experiences problems with self-confidence. Self-confidence is one aspect of personality in the form of belief in one's own abilities so that it is not influenced by others. The existence of different levels of self-confidence can be influenced by personality type. For this reason, teenagers need to understand their personality type so that they are able to adapt and optimize their abilities so that they can increase their self-confidence. This study aims to determine the relationship between the Hippocrates-Galenus personality type and the level ofself-confidence in adolescents at SMA Negeri 5 Magelang. The method used is cross sectional correlation with purposive sampling technique and the number of samples is 277 people. The data collection of the Hippocrates-Galenus personality type used a questionnaire contained in the Personality Pluss book, while the self-confidence questionnaire used a self-confidence questionnaire. To test the relationship between the two variables using the Chi Square statistical test. Chi Square test results show p value <0.05, which means there is a significant relationship between the Hippocrates-Galenus personality type and the level of self- confidence. There is a relationship between the Hippocrates-Galenus personality type and the level of self-confidence in adolescents at SMA Negeri 5 Magelang.Keywords: Hippocrates-Galenus Personality Type, Self Confidence Level, AdolescentsDownloads
