Perawat dan Keselamatan Pasien: Studi Tinjauan Literatur

Keselamatan pasien merupakan salah satu isu global, terutama saat keberadaan pasien di rumah sakit. Penerapan keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit memerlukan peran perawat sebagai tenaga kesehatan yang paling dominan dan langsung bertemu pasien selama 24 jam, oleh sebab itu perlu melihat sejauh mana peran perawat dalam mencegah insiden keselamatan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi hasil penelitian tentang penerapan keselamatan pasien oleh perawat di rumah sakit. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review, menggunakan basis data elektronik diidentifikasi dari Pubmed, Google Scholar, Google and Grey literature (National Library of Indonesia) dengan kata kunci: keselamatan pasien, kepatuhan, penerapan keselamatan pasien oleh perawat. Kriteria inklusi dalam penelitian ini adalah implementasi keselamatan pasien yang dilakukan oleh perawat, rancangan penelitian adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif, penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif atau kualitatif, makalah empiris berbahasa Inggris atau Indonesia yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2018-2020. Artikel yang terjaring sebanyak sembilan makalah yang disintesis secara naratif. Hasil ditemukan empat makalah mengenai penerapan keselamatan pasien, satu makalah mengenai penggunaan surgical safety check list, dua makalah mengenai pengurangan risiko infeksi, satu makalah mengenai handover dan satu makalah mengenai pengurangan risiko jatuh. Hasil kajian pustakan ini menemukan berbagai inovasi yang dilakukan oleh perawat dalam menjalankan keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit. Inovasi ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi rumah sakit sebagai inovasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan yang mengedepankan keselamatan pasien sebagai aspek kepuasan pasien selama di rumah sakit.References
