Abstract
March 2, 2022, there were 437 million people with confirmed COVID 19, Indonesia, positive confirmed cases of Covid 19 reached 5,589,176 cases, with 539,214 of them requiring hospitalization. Discharge planning is carried out by nurses in a structured manner starting from the assessment when the patient enters the hospital until the patient goes home. Lack of understanding and knowledge about the mechanism for implementing discharge planning causes nurses to tend not to carry out discharge planning to patients. This study was conducted to describe nurses' knowledge about COVID 19 discharge planning. The type of research used was non-experimental quantitative, while the design used was descriptive research. The population in this study were nurses in the Covid 19 room at the Tugurejo Hospital, Semarang, with a total of 55 nurses. Sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with total sampling. The data collection process was carried out using questionnaires filled out by respondents. The results showed that nurses with good knowledge amounted to 47.3%, moderate knowledge 41.8% and less knowledge amounted to 10.9%.
